fine, you can deal with all the stupid issues of that chassis...27 buy in, probably 20 to keep it on the road to 100K

Would rather get a 2009-2010 W221 for the same price.

I know. There's nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes, and this may be the worst one.

An S65 though?

I know, but unlike him I have no magical power that allow me to wrench on a Gallardo for the price of a Geo Metro.

No way I would ever have any business owning a used German V12...
Also, the S63 AMGs are faster.

Faster? Or more tunable?

Stock, faster.

I drive by this place almost on a daily basis. Bought my first M3 from them. Sooo Much Want There! I need to stop by again and see what's on the inside, cause they have dozens of $200-300k cars sitting outside. Including McLaren's, Astons, Ferrari's, and Lambos.

All numbers I can find say 4 sec 0-60 for a W220 S65 and 4.5 for a W221 S63.

I've been as well.

Sorry I was thinking of the W221 and W222. Still, would rather sacrifice a bit of performance of the S63...

I see where you're coming from. It would undoubtedly be more liveable.

German V12s aren't known for being....ahem...cheap to repair. And you will need to repair them.
If you want one, just get an S600 and save the extra money for the repair fund.

Agreed. This is hypothetical, of course.
